Rates
Mr. Wilk’s compensation for cases administered by the American Arbitration Association is governed by his rate schedule on file with the AAA. For ad hoc cases he charges $500 per hour for his services as an arbitrator and mediator as well as any related study and writing, but he does not charge a cancellation fee. If a mediation involves more than 2 parties, there is an additional charge of $100 an hour for each additional party. An advance deposit shall be determined based on a good faith estimate of the amount of time required for the arbitration or mediation. The total fee is divided among the parties. He does not charge for travel time but is reimbursed for his reasonable out of pocket expenses.
